TMS DIVISION, OUR HISTORY IN BRIEF

TMS is an Division of VED Company that operates in the Oil&Gas area since over 40 years. 

Part of its experience in last 10 years is about mechanical processing directly inside industrial plants through the use of special portable machines like boring, milling and drilling ones that are possible to bring directly over the equipment that have to be maintenanced. Over the course of the years we have been faced with situations for which it was necessary to find new solutions that would allow the re-commissioning of the equipment and therefore of the entire plant. Thanks to the portability of these machines and to some customization applied, TMS has grown within a niche market, related to the search for specialized solutions for mechanical maintenance of pressure equipment and industrial machinery.

Our experience grows thanks to having been joined by large multinational companies in the sector as currently the close cooperation with TD Williamson.

In recent years requests for specific solutions to be implemented has increased, to intervene on large diameters such as for example the restoration of sealing seats with diameters equal to 6 meters and it was for this reason that TMS has developed its inside an Office dedicated to the research and development of new portable machines, like integration of laser pointers and the possibility to mount the machined inside the equipment avoiding its dismantling.

Machines we sell are entirely designed in-house and elements for their customization are researched and designed according to the needs to be reached to offer the best solution. Today we can guarantee customized solutions to the various problems that may arise during the maintenance of industrial equipment.

Our Story

1978

TMS Division's birth

From the intuition of a VED Srl C.E.O., the idea of developing new maintenance services to define best practices on plant safety. This approach led to the improvement of fixing processes, to satisfy companies’ needs.

R&D processes have then been expanded, alongside with pre and post maintenance processes for components control and certification. This development has been essential for the creation of a new specialized Division.

2009

Services growth and differentiation

From a merely fugitive emissions-centered approach and post maintenance fixing checks, the technical department has gained the vital experience to diversified services. The division began to modify its procedures to speed up and to improve every type of inspection and monitoring operation.
GFE created the tanks inspection and inert gas monitoring services.
2011

Ispra national regulation

The division acquired a more specialized certification due to the formalization of ISPRA regulation.
Thanks to its acquired know-how, the Division has promptly been launched on the national industrial plants market.
2013

Our presence on the main italian industrial sites

2013 is a crucial year for the GFE division. The expansion of our Division on the national market represented a great conquer but also a new challenge, which led to a steady growth of the company know-how.
2014

Development of integrated data management systems

Due to an exponential increase of data, a new integrated system was necessary to provide a quicker customer oriented solution for the validation, acquisition, and elaboration of shared data.
2016

Our growth in new foreign markets

Outstanding partnership and diversified inspection and monitoring services have permitted to expand the Division on an international level.
The division has rapidly developed its presence in the inspection and monitoring emissions sector, including the industrial ones and dumps, protecting cities from odor emissions.
